Hotel Collection Is Awarded the 2006 AAA Four Diamond Rating

Mexico City, Mexico (January 30, 2006) - In a epic announcement last week, Quinta Real Hotels and Resorts received AAA Four Diamond rating at all eight Quinta Real Hotels; representing 10 percent of the marketplace in Mexico.
Quinta Real Hotels and Resorts is the first and only hotel collection to have all properties receive the prestigious AAA Four Diamond rating in Mexico. Only 3.25 percent of the 31,000 AAA Rated® lodgings and 3.21 percent of the estimated 18,700 restaurants worldwide are awarded the prestigious recognition. Quinta Real Hotels and Resorts are among 74 hotels who received the well-renowned rating for 2006 in Mexico. In comparison to other countries, Mexico has the highest percentage of Four Diamond AAA rated hotels.

The AAA Four Diamond symbol will be included in all eight properties and restaurant listings in the 2006 Mexico TourBook® guide, in addition to the AAA.com website and affiliated AAA databases. AAA has more than 48 million members who depend upon TourBook guides to assist travelers with decisions. An establishment's diamond rating is, often, the deciding factor when members select a location for lodging or dining experience.
